Home Inspections and Reports
Depending upon your needs, my report can include all or any part of the following:
- A record of all observed material defects and reporting of the description and condition of structural (including roof, attic and foundation), plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems within the home. (This is conducted in accordance with the accepted standard of practice of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors.)
- Licensed termite inspection with report on universally accepted NPMA 33.
- Blower door test with infrared scanning and location of air leakage points.
- Insulation inspection and measurement.
- Computer modeling of home’s energy efficiency with recommendations and cost estimates for efficiency upgrades.
- Analysis and report on previous energy use.
- Report on current and potential health and safety problems noted during the analysis.
With you present during the inspection, after I have completed my inspection I will take you on a complete tour and point out the issues that I discovered in the home and answer any questions that you may have at that time.
Home inspection reports are confidential and not shared with anyone (including real estate agents) unless authorized by the client and are available within 24-hours after the inspection. These reports are in a narrative format and include photographs of key areas and concerns.
